The Beautiful Highlands !
This part is all about Vegetation of the highlands. Highlands have so much vegetation because of there fertile soil. Very healthy soil. Also, made with natural grass. if you were able to visit a part of a highland, you would see grass everywhere. Not one little spot would be filled with any other material. Mixwood forest, high mountains, tundra vegetation (depending on elevation). The climate is about mild to humid. The Highlands are lush with green grasses, but also see a number of colorful shrubs. Most commonly purple, heather -- a type of perennial shrub -- sweeps the area, from mountain tops to roadsides, also appearing in a range from white to pink, and sometimes even red, contrasting with the surrounding green meadows and forests. Although they may brown, the heathers' flowers don't necessarily fall. Other shrubs that sweep the Scottish Highlands range from grey to brown and green to yellow, but when the rain comes, the hills are alive with a vivid green.

This is the page about the wonderful animals of the Highlands. Well the highlands can be a range of biomes from forest to tundra. The type of biome depends on the vegetation and the animals. For Tundra types there wont be much of any vegetation so their wont be a lot of plant eating animals. a lot of animals that live in highlands have a lot of fur like the picture on the one on the left. Looks like a little justin beiber with the hair . But The grassier highlands have more animals. like goats , rams , ox's mountain lions and more.
